be a man

what does  it take to realize what it takes to be a person who takes into account every option?  i'm listening ... i'm on top of my thoughts, but i'm not in charge of my feelings ...

And I think that those who believe otherwise have reached a state of self-realization that the rest of us can only dream of. On the other hand, they can just be sadly mistaken.

So what does it take to "be a man" or woman? I believe it takes honesty and humility. A true man/woman is not afraid to admit that he/she doesn't have to have control of everything. Don't you think?

My ansewer is 'Enlightenment,' which I take to mean that 'the “true aim of humankind” is set down by reason, not by other agencies (such as God, the government, the states)' (Luth, 2000, p. 79).
